When it comes to cruising, there are a lot of options out there, but if we want to let our hair down a bit and have some fun we always choose Carnival Cruise Line.
Why? Well, Carnival is the FUN cruise line.
Carnival is so relaxed in its approach and it always just feels like you are in the middle of a fabulous party that somehow coincided with a cruise vacation. Plus, they have so many itineraries to choose from, so you can find the perfect vacation for your budget and schedule.
Their ships are amazing as well. From the stunning Carnival Jubilee which is set to debut later this year, right through to the smaller ships like Carnival Pride, Paradise and Elation, every ship is amazing.
But it’s not just the ships and itineraries that make Carnival one of my go-to cruise lines. It’s the overall experience.
The activities onboard are endless, from waterslides to casinos to specialty restaurants like Guy Fieri’s Burger Joint and Bonsai Teppanyaki. The entertainment is always superb, with everything from comedy clubs to Lip Sync Battles to Broadway-style shows.
If that just gets you a little too excited, their Cloud 9 Spa is the perfect place to unwind and relax.
Overall, Carnival Cruise Line offers amazing value for the price, with affordable cabin categories to fit any budget. For US-based cruisers, Carnival has embarkation ports all over the United States, from Miami to Seattle to Long Beach. So it’s easy to find a Carnival cruise that’s convenient for you.
Carnival also regularly sails from the UK and destinations in Europe as well, so Brits like me are well taken care of.
Why Carnival Cruise Line is a Great Choice
When it comes to choosing a cruise line, there are many options available. However, in my opinion, Carnival Cruise Line is a great choice for several reasons.
Carnival offers a wide variety of onboard activities and amenities that cater to all ages and interests. From water parks and mini-golf to amazing theatre shows and casinos, there is never a dull moment on a Carnival cruise.
Carnival also has exceptional dining options. With a variety of restaurants and cuisines to choose from, there is something to satisfy every palate. We wouldn’t personally class it as “fine dining”, but oh boy is it good!
Carnival also genuinely seems to have a commitment to providing amazing service. The staff has always been so friendly and attentive when we have cruised with them. The ships themselves are all well-maintained and generally in tip-top condition.

CARNIVAL CRUISE LINE – It’s ALL ABOUT THE FUN!
From the moment you step onboard, you feel the excitement in the air. Get connected to Carnival Cruise WiFi, load up the Carnival Hub App, and let’s see what’s happening. The lively music and friendly staff will make you feel like you’re entering a whole new world. The ships are like floating cities, with endless activities and entertainment options.
Ask my wife Morag and she’ll tell you that one of my favorite things to do on a Carnival Cruise is to explore the different bars and lounges. (Yes I’m shocked as well LOL) Each one has its own unique atmosphere. Whether I’m sipping a margarita at the BlueIguana Tequila Bar or enjoying a cool refreshing lager at the RedFrog Pub, I always have a great time.
Now I am getting pretty long in the tooth for this stuff, but if you are in the mood for some adventure, there are plenty of options for that too. Carnival has a variety of thrilling activities, like the SkyRide, a suspended bike ride that takes you high above the ship. There’s also a ropes course, mini golf, and a water park with slides and a splash zone.
But if you just want to relax and take it easy, there are plenty of ways to do that too. You can lounge by the pool, get a massage at the spa, or curl up with a good book in the library. And when it’s time to eat, there are so many delicious options to choose from. From casual dining at the Lido Marketplace to elegant dinners at the steakhouse, there’s something for everyone.
Overall, Carnival Cruise Line is the perfect choice for anyone who wants to have fun and make memories at sea. With so many activities, entertainment options, and dining choices, there’s never a dull moment. It’s where the fun begins, and it will always be on my shortlist for my cruise vacations.
CARNIVAL CRUISe LINE HAS A Huge Range of Itineraries
As a couple who love to travel, one of the things we appreciate most about Carnival Cruise Line is the huge range of itineraries they offer. Whether we’re looking to explore the Caribbean, Mexico, Alaska, Europe, or even the Far East and Australia, Carnival has a cruise that fits our needs.
They also offer a great mix of ports of call and sea days. We really enjoy exploring new places, but we also appreciate having some downtime to relax and enjoy the fun on the ship. Carnival strikes a great balance between the two.
And then of course there is Half Moon Cay. Carnival’s private Island destination in the Bahamas. This is one of our favorite places on the planet! It is absolutely stunning and if we were to choose one itinerary, it would have to include a stop there.

Carnival also offers a range of cruise lengths, from three-day weekend getaways to two-week adventures. This makes it easy to fit a cruise into our schedule, no matter how much time we have available.
