If you have ever sailed with Carnival Cruise Line you’ll already know why they are renowned for their entertaining and fun-filled cruise vacations. But all that fun can run away with your budget! So let’s take a look at Carnival Drink Menu prices, so that you can budget accordingly!
For this article, I will summarise all of the carnival bar menus and drink prices available. This will let you check prices and give you a quick idea of what you might spend onboard for alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks.
It will also help plan ahead and you can work out if you might be better off purchasing the Cheers drink package.
I will also be including photos of the bar menus from our last Carnival cruise which I was on, the Carnival Pride. This will let you see the latest drink prices as of 2023.
Before sailing on the Carnival Price in June 2023, I had not cruised with Carnival in quite a while, so I was pleasantly reminded about the huge array of drink menus offered across all the different bars on the ship.
We were never running out of ideas of what to drink to try next LOL
Whether you are a fan of exclusive craft beers, premium spirits, or carefully crafted cocktails, Carnival has you covered.
We had no less than 9 bars on Carnival Pride and that’s one of the small ships in the fleet!
Each bar on the ship, has its own specialized drink menu that sets it apart, making it exciting to visit each one – bar crawl anyone?
So if you are on one of the larger ships like Carnival Sunshine, Horizon, Celebration and Mardi Gras you are in for a treat.

Carnival Drink Menu – Cruise Bar Menus Updated for 2023
In this section, I am going to include photos of the menus directly from our Carnival Cruise in June, so these are up to date for 2023.
For the bars, that I don’t have a photo of, I will link you to a PDF copy of the menu on Carnival’s website. Unfortunately, Carnival do not show any prices on their PDF menus on their website, which is a bit of a pain.
Alchemy Bar Drinks Menu
The Alchemy Bar is a specialist cocktail bar. You won’t find any beers here – this is all about the cocktails.
In our experience, the bartenders at this bar definitely made the strongest drinks on board our ship. All our cruise friends agreed as well.
There is an Alchemy Bar to be found on all Carnival ships with the exception of the “Fun Italian-style” ships, Carnival Venezia and Carnival Firenze cruises which instead have the Amari bar, which serves similar cocktails.
Here’s a photograph of the Alchemy Bar drinks menu. As you can see all cocktails are priced at $13 plus the 18% gratuity, giving a total cost of $15.34
Blue Iguana Tequila Bar Drinks Menu
The Blue Iguana Tequila Bar was a favorite spot of ours on the Carnival Pride as it could be found up on the lido deck right beside the pool.
If you are looking for a nice cool glass of Dos Equis or a frozen Margharita, this is the bar to head to.
As you can see from the photograph of the menu below a 16ox draft Dos Equis costs $7.50, or you can get a 60oz Pitcher for $24. Even better value was the 101oz “Tube” at $30.
You can also get a bucket of 6 beers here and save $6 on the total cost
Heroes Tribute Lounge Drinks Menu
The Heroes Tribute Lounge is a rebranding of what was previously the Skybox Sports Bar on Carnival Ships. This rebranding work is still underway across the fleet.
When we were on Carnival Pride in June, the ship had just come out of dry dock, so we were able to see the new Heroes Tribute Lounge firsthand. The lounges have been designed in recognition of our Service Veterans and it’s really nicely done.
The bar still has a nice sports bar feel to it and that was reflected in the range of drinks available. The cocktails now are all clearly themed in recognition of servicemen. Cocktails ranged in price from $10 to $12.50 and had some wonderful names such as “Afterburner”, “Green Beret”, “Shore Leave” and “Bravo Alpha Romeo”.
Here’s some photos of the Heroes Tribute Bar Menu
Punchliner Comedy Club Drinks Menu
I loved the Punchliner Comedy Club on Carnival Pride. They had a great rotation of comedy acts during our 9 day cruise.
If you arrive early, you can get a nice seat at the bar and still have a decent view of the stage.
Cocktails ranged from $11 to $13.50, but Martini’s and Shooters are the specialty here. $12 for a Martini and $7.50 for a shot. Or get 4 for $26. You know this isn’t going to end well LOL
Here’s a photo of the Punchliner Bar Menu
Red Frog Pub Drinks Menu
This was probably our favorite bar on the whole ship and we would regularly find ourselves here at night listening to the fabulous cover band that played in there.
The Red Frog bar has an extensive menu. Although I was disappointed that Draft beer was restricted to their own “Thirsty Frog” brand which I am not a fan of.
Here are some photos of the Red Frog Pub Bar Drinks Menu
Red Frog Rum Bar Drinks Menu
On the Carnival Pride, we also had the Red Frog Rum Bar, up on the Lido deck. This bar was directly opposite the Blue Iguana and was always crowded as it was in a bit of a walkway, so I never used it.
Sadly therefore I didn’t get a photo of the bar menu here. I do however have a link to the Red Frog Rum Bar Drinks menu.
Piano Bar Drinks Menu
On the Carnival Pride, the Ivory Piano bar was always popular. However, while the entertainer on board was clearly a fantastic musician, he was less good as a singer. So we didn’t spend much time in here.
Here is a link to the Piano Bar Drinks Menu
Serenity Bar Drinks Menu
The Serenity Pool Bar was our favorite spot on at-sea days. It’s adults only and it was wonderfully quiet. We loved it. It also remarkably had one of the quietest bars on the ship, so it was easy to get served very quickly indeed.

Main Dining Room Wine and Drinks Prices
In the main dining room, you can order Wine or other drinks from your Waiter.
The prices for beer, cocktails, and liquor are generally the same as they are in the other bars, but they will usually have a more extensive list of wines to choose from.
Wine can be purchased by the glass in many cases, but some wines are available by the bottle only.
Is the Cheers Drink Package a Better Option
Carnival offers a drinks package that allows you to effectively have an “all-inclusive” cruise. This covers the cost of the majority of drinks available on the ship. There is however a limit of no more than 15 drinks per day.
This Cheers drinks package is offered at a price of $64.95 per day per adult. If one adult in a stateroom purchases the package, ALL adults in that stateroom also need to order it.
If you purchase the package before your cruise, the price you pay is reduced to $59.95.
For shorter sailings of 6 days or less, the price increases slightly. $74.95 per day if purchased on board or $69.95 if purchased before the cruise.
For all drinks packages, you need to pay an additional 18% gratuity on top of the package price. However, this does mean that you have effectively “prepaid” your bar service gratuities.
Let’s All Drink To That
So there you have it. I hope these examples from the Carnival Drink Menu give you an idea of the prices you will pay on board for alcohol. It might also help you decide if the Cheers Drink package will make more sense for you and your budget.
